Overview
There has been new data available, which is the reason for the adjustments for certain games. Grand Theft Auto V had the biggest adjustment with pre-orders adjusted up more than 50 percent. Call of Duty: Ghosts also had a big adjustment.
There are no games in the top 40 to be in their final week.
Four games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same last week, and the top 21 has 100,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week. Five games added 20,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week and eight added 10,000 or more, down from 11 last week.

There are no games in the top 40 to be in their final week.
Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending August 17
Pikmin 3 (WiiU) sales are expected to drop to around 35,000 units in its second week on sale.
Tales of Xillia (PS3) sales are expected to drop to around 35,000 units in its second week on sale.
Dragon’s Crown (PS3) sales are expected to drop to around 32,000 units in its second week on sale. The Vita version is expected to drop to around 10,000 units.
Overall hardware and software is expected to drop slightly week-on-week.
Other Hot Games – In Order of Release
Grand Theft Auto V (X360) added 40,913 pre-orders, down from 29,475 last week, for a total of 831,219. The PlayStation 3 version added 22,007 up from 19,265 pre-orders for a total of 663,951. Both versions of the game are also the most pre-ordered game in the US. The game is six weeks away from launch in the USA, September 17, 2013.
Battlefield 4 (X360) added 4,721 pre-orders, down from 4,856 last week, for a total of 233,470. The game is 151,000 pre-orders behind of Battlefield 3 (X360). This is down from 117,000 pre-orders behind the previous week. Battlefield 4 (PS3) added 2,970 pre-orders, up from 2,471 last week, for a total of 127,026. The game is 12 weeks away from launch in the USA, October 29, 2013.
Call of Duty: Ghosts (X360) added 10,980 pre-orders, down from 12,659 last week, for a total of 355,158. The game is 409,000 pre-orders behind Black Ops II (X360). This is down from 353,000 pre-orders behind of Call of Duty: Black Ops II (X360) the previous week. The game is 13 weeks away from launch in the USA, November 5, 2013.
Call of Duty: Ghosts (PS3) added 5,542 pre-orders, down 7,236 last week, for a total of 178,821. The game is 268,000 pre-orders behind Black Ops II (PS3). This is down from 229,000 pre-orders behind Call of Duty: Black Ops II (PS3) the previous week. The game is 13 weeks away from launch in the USA, November 5, 2013.
Notable mentions: Madden NFL 25 (X360) added 37,856 pre-orders for a total of 172,301. Madden NFL 25 (PS3) added 32,121 pre-orders for a total of 135,711. Disney Infinity (Wii) added 22,754 pre-orders for a total of 125,254.
Requests: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (WiiU) added 1,965 pre-orders for a total of 34,671. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS) added 2,213 pre-orders for a total of 16,875. Titanfall (XOne) added 1,076 pre-orders for a total of 16,737. Killzone: Mercenary (PSV) added 600 pre-orders for a total of 10,977.

Oh dear, a decline in preorders in the COD and Battlefield games from last year... that means... a decline in interest in the same game over and over again! About time!

I cant wait til GTA V comes out.I think it will sell over 25 million overall with 12 months.
I doubt that, GTAIV only barely broke 20 million, and GTA V is releasing at the end of the gen. 15 million for sure is my bet, 20 is possible too, but a stretch.
GTA4 sold 27mil copies, confirmed by Dan Houser back in Nov, & that's not including Episodes from LC 3mil sales, which was a DLC. So, you're wrong, & people seem to forget that GTA4 was released when 360/PS3 was still new, & still sold 30mil in 4 years. No COD game has sold pass 27mil, let alone 25mil on 1 console. COD success was a fluke, you see the pre orders, GTA5 almost 2mil, Ghosts not even a mil.
