wow look at AC4 preorder numbers lol. this proves how bad AC3 was to many people. a game like this should be in the top 10 by now.
Hope SS has a good opening
Man if those The Last of Us numbers are correct then it should have an amazing opening week for a new IP.
I don't know about legs, a lot of games releasing late in the consoles life now have a great opening, but weak legs. Look at God of War: Ascension, and Gears of War 3 & Judgement. I think it will open bigger then Uncharted 3, but sell less overall.
P.S. AI can't be improved that much lol! 360 reached it's limits with Forza 4, and I'm pretty sure PS3 is either really close or at it's performance limit now too.
It's tough really to say what will happen because there are more variables now since it is the end of gen. I think it will sell 5-6 million with maybe a 1.3-1.4 million opening, hopefully.
About the AI, I don't think ND has really improved it a lot really. I think from what I read they are using a new technique or something that gives the AI more depth and smarts, I guess you could say. Don't know much more about it, but it should have better AI than almost 98% of games from this gen.
