Today we take a look at the top 10 best-selling games for yet another platform. Up to this point we have looked at the original PlayStation, the Nintendo 64, the PlayStation 2, the original Xbox, the GameCube, the Nintendo DS, the PSP, the Nintendo Wii, the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, the SNES, the NES, and the Game Boy. This week it's the turn of Nintendo's second handheld, the Game Boy Advance (not including the Game & Watch series).

Other than the Pokemon games (one of which is a Gen 1 remake), the only original title on that list for the GBA is MK Super Circuit. That's pretty disappointing considering all the quality titles the handheld saw over the years like Metroid Fusion, Golden Sun and the Advance Wars games.

It's a crime that the Castlevania titles aren't on there considering they're some of, if not the best that the franchise ever made.

Castlevania 2D has been extremely niche for the last 2 decades or more. To expect them in a top 10 of any consoles is just unrealistic.

And was Symphony of the night on the top 10 selling Ps games? No, probably not even on the top 50. I love the games but they are niche.

Pokemon on the top 3? Just as planned.

A damn shame Golden Sun could not make the list. Mega man Battle Network, too.

Damn, think I have all of them bar number 8 and 9 still in my collection. 1 day I'll have the complete top 10 of a console!

Pokemon and Mario Domination tho, Lost so many hours into Super Circuit, game had great music too if used with headphones.

Pokemon dominates the top several positions as expected. I'm surprised those Namco arcade games sold so well though. And no Zelda or Metroid games makes me sad inside :'(

The system didn't have much of Zelda though. The Minish Cap is obscure and underperformed for a Zelda game due to what it is and the other game is just a remaster.

A remaster which also includes 4 swords tho, great link up game. Also the 2 Zelda's from the NES launched on the GBA as NES classics series.

You're right, always forget about those (the NES ones).

Still have my boxed copy of the First classic Zelda on the GBA, never got the 2nd one tho, didn't like that game much on the NES (still have my Gold Cart of it tho for that)

GBA is the 2nd best thing to come from Nintendo, just right behind SNES. I looooove that thing.

I would argue that NES is better than SNES because it was able to grab 95% of the market share, revive and entire gaming industry and INVENT most of the IP that you saw on SNES.

Definitely my least favorite. Too much of the library is taken up by ports for my tastes.

I prefer games that were designed from the beginning to be "on-the-go." I've never had the desire to play my SNES games anywhere but my own couch. Just not for me.

An exclusive Mario Kart and Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, and all the rest are old games. That's pretty funny.

Those old games are some of the biggest classics ever for the first time on a handheld, makes sense.
