Wesker Isn't Coming Back - News

Something happened to Albert Wekser in Resident 5, and at comic-con, an attendee asked the producer, Masachika Kawata, if Wesker would return.

He replied, “Even if you want Albert Wesker to come back there is no chance of that happening.” Maybe he meant that he would not appear in Resident Evil 6? Wesker will appear in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, which Kawata is working on.

Viewtiful Joe was also something to ponder on, if he would return. The Producer of Lost Planet 2, Jun Takeuchi replied to the Viewtiful Joe question and said that if he would get to work with Kamiya-san , he might continue the series. But still no plans for a new Viewtiful Joe. Kamiya is currently at PlatinumGames as the director of Bayonetta.

how the fuck they ruined wesker and chris? also the story of re5 is good, miles better than re4.

and no i dont want mikami returning and making another re4. (the game was excelent but the story was utter-shit).

Its like removing Ganandorf from the Zelda games, or Bowser from the Mario games. No Bowser, no Mario, no Ganandorf, no Zelda. Simple as that.

interesting news, might hav got tiresome if they kept killing him, bringing bk to life but anyway maybe theres more to wesker left through in clues to maybe a supposed death,leave it for a while, hopefully we'll get bk to proper zombies, not that zombie fakes.lol

If they're not gonna continue Viewtiful Joe without Kamiya, then they shouldn't make RE without Mikami. I bet he's pissed that he didn't get to finish the Wesker storyline properly.

Well given the RE5 ending it is kinda understandable. But after they ruined his character in RE5 just like they did Chris Redfield's, do we really want him back. Better yet, how about a REAL RE5 from the original creator haha.

Really dont care too much about what they are going to do with the next RE's. I'll probably still play them but after they ruined the story in RE5, it just doesn't matter what they do with it anymore. Maybe an RE 4.5 with Leon haha.
