While VGChartz may be the place to go to find information on video game sales, another site called PriceCharting.com prides itself on following the secondary market, tracking how frequently and for how much used games (and other products) are going for. Their blog writer JJ Hendricks recently sent along a link to their most recent post which I'm sure you'll find as informative and curious as I did: the rarest and most expensive PlayStation 3 games in existence.
What took the number one spot? Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Fortune Hunter Edition. This super-limited edition was available only as a giveaway to a lucky 200 fans who played the multiplayer beta leading up to the game's release. How much will it set you back? $3,700 USD if it's brand new and $1,050 if it's used.

The only one on there that I have is the InFamous 2 Hero edition, but there would be no way I'm selling that. I love the backpack I got with it.
What's more amazing is that according to the site the Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter edition used to be worth 5k... used. That's insane.
Buy special edition/limited edition and keep them unopened and just wait for them to appreciate in value. Buy a Standard edition of the game if you want to play it.

I got the collectors edition of "Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel" for $40 at gamestop. It was their very last copy lol
Cant believe Star Wars Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition wasnt higher seeing as people are selling it easly above $100 on ebay.
I have the deluxe Demon's Souls with a mint copy of the Strategy Guide. I have everything sealed in a air-tight ziploc bag. It's used though, so it's not really worth that much. If it was sealed it would be worth twice the amount.
Aaaaaaaaand that is why you should preorder your special editions like I do. I lol at the current prices of ATQoga and Neptunia, knowing full-well the $60 I payed for each.
They should go check out the new prices for the special editions, particularly the ones with the calendar for ATQ and the card deck for Neptunia.
