Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Tops Japanese Chart for Another Week - News

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS) has remained at the top of the Japanese charts for another week (week ending August 16th), according to Media Create. The game sold an additional 140,235 units to bring its lifetime sales up to 844,167 units.

The next three spots are the same as last week as well: Yo-kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team / White Dog Squad (3DS) remains in second, with sales of 100,553 units; Splatoon (WiiU) is at number three, with sales of 41,361 units; and Rhythm Heaven: The Best+ (3DS) is at number four, with sales of 27,356 units.

The Nintendo 3DS was the top selling platform with sales of 42,248 units. The PlayStation 4 sold 18,503 units, the PlayStation Vita sold 17,400 units, and the Wii U sold 16,567 units. The PlayStation 3 sold 23,448 units, while the Xbox One sold just 185 units.

I'm really surprised that there isn't a single PS4 game in the top 20. This mean that no PS4 game sold at least 3400 units. That is shockingly low.
