There are three games in the top 40 to be in its final week: Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Assassin’s Creed: Unity for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and Assassin’s Creed: Rogue.
Three games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, down from five last week, and the top 11 has 100,000 or more pre-orders, down from 12 last week. Six games added 20,000 or more pre-orders, down from nine last week and nine added 10,000 or more, down from 10 last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
Halo: The Master Chief Collection (XOne) added 48,480 pre-orders for a grand total of 346,452. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 500,000 to 800,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between three million units and five million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity (XOne) added 58,560 pre-orders for a grand total of 196,502. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 300,000 to 600,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between one million units and three million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity (XOne) added 22,130 pre-orders for a final total of 193,630. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 300,000 to 600,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between one million units and three million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue (X360) added 8,108 pre-orders for a final total of 41,493. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 70,000 to 100,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 400,000 units and 1,000,000 units lifetime in the US at retail.
Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending November 15
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (XOne) sales are expected to drop to around 350,000 units in its second week on sale. The PlayStation 4 version sales are expected to drop to around 350,000 units. The Xbox 360 version sales are expected to drop to around 250,000 units. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 125,000 units.
Other Hot Games – In Order of Release
The Order 1866 (PS4) added 3,221 pre-orders, up from 2,984 last week, for a total of 123,899. The game is 15 weeks away from launch in the USA, February 20, 2015.
Notable mentions: Pokémon Omega Ruby (3DS) added 36,018 pre-orders for a total of 270,161. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (WiiU) added 40,020 pre-orders for a total of 239,338. Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS4) added 12,121 pre-orders for a total of 134,644.
Requests: Uncharted 4 (PS4) added 1,819 pre-orders for a total of 31,012. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (WiiU) added 3,468 pre-orders for a total of 16,416. Splatoon (WiiU) added 142 pre-orders for a total of 2,227.
