Already know quite a few games that are probably overestimated.
Mass Effect 3 on 360
Xenoblade
Twisted Metal
Thank me later lol
These estimations are barely useless. If you ignore the numbers I think it's enough accurate to compare the games by rank.
Go go go Xenoblade!!!!
Xenoblade is slowing, we can't have that! I hope Americans make it a real success, we need more games like Xenoblade.
Tales of Graces F :)
Will ME3 really be that huge ?
Twisted Metal is one example of the too many titles Sony is trying to release. It's going to struggle to reach 1 million units, won't be a commercial hit and is coming at a period where there isn't really a lack of software releases...
I dont think thats the issue with twisted metal....sony hasnt released much games this year as far as i know. The problem is this is a niche title and the genre itself is not doing great this gen. That being said i dont think sony has high expectations for sales...bearing in mind this was initially going to be a psn game only.
Word of mouth will also come in to play for this title imo. If the game receives good critical acclaim and a good following from gamers, then sales could very well go pass 1 mil. Similar scenario with Heavy rain. However heavy rain was quite an innovative game, a first of its kind if you will, something twisted metal doesnt have going for it. I stil think it can do it though :)
I'm hoping MP 9 can pick up on its Pre Orders soon, or at least have good legs.
I'm also starting to think that the long US wait for Xenoblade was a marketing stunt to rack up sales and demand...

For a JRPG that isn't named final fantasy, on a console that isn't really known for successful core games, and is being sold exclusively at one retailer, Xenoblade's numbers are fantastic. Also I would assume that number doesn't include the people pre-ordering through Nintendo. It may not be a million seller. But I can't see NoA being unhappy with these numbers.

SSX ? Its release date is 02/28/12 in the US, not this week.
I'm always shocked to see XenoBlade numbers so low. Yes it's looking to do best in Americas, but how does a AAA 9+ JRPG like this from the makers of XenoGears only have 100k pre-orders? It deserves more, Nintendo or Gamestop should market it.
No Asura's Wrath nor Binary Domain. Hmmm...
Kinda shocked that Uncharted:GA isn't there. I know it's a launch title but I would have thought it would have at least come in at the bottom of the list.
Also surprised at RE:OC. Very high pre-orders for a spin-off title taking a series in a new direction being made by a studio with a not very strong track record.
RE has always been a popular series but still given the lukewarm reception this spin off has been getting and the different direction I'm very surprised. There has been a lot of hate following the title. Personally I'm hyped purely because having A.I that attacks anyone in mutliplayer is awesome. Was the best thing about Turok's multiplayer.
YES tales of graces!!!!!!!!
Oh dear, I really don't want SSX to flop.
No rythnm heaven? sad.... Happy to see xenolade above 100k LT & those 3ds games already... Now we just need TLS & PT
Go Xenoblade! One of the best JRPG of all time, and the best JRPG of the current console generation.
Bastards messed up my ME3 comparison chart! :P
I don't understand how the preorder numbers for ME3 and D3 are lower than last week, when it shows them both as increasing.

@Ail O_o 183K pre-orders, the first Twisted Metal game for PS3, this is only the USA. I would think 1 million sales is all but guaranteed, as long as reviews are good TM will do fine. Having said that the likely fanbase for Twisted Metal is probably around 1.5 million (based on TM franchise sales history). So 2 million sales is not all that likely.
buy a PS3.^the new OP game is coming
Twisted Metal :(
