Love the Xenoblade numbers. One of the best JRPGs gets high sales, thats a good news! Resident Evil: Revelations numbers seems it bit low. Especially when you look at the good sales in Europe and Japan. On the other hand: Handheld games are often not preorder monsters but sell well after launch.

jamesmarkus87 (on 06 February 2012)

I hope Mass Effect 3 will have good legs. Mass Effect 2's sales basically died after the first week, despite all the critical acclaim and game of the year awards it had received.

SecondWar (on 06 February 2012)

They did collapse but eventually began selling steadily at a few thousand a week, and it did eventually out sell ME1. Likely ME3 will experience something similar, as everyone who got hooked by the first 2 games buys it immediately.

Mass Effect 3 exceeding my expectations. And Diablo 3... well if it's a Blizzard game, it's on top of the chartz right.

@jamesmarkus87 ME2 has shown, relatively, good legs for PS3. Started with a limp 90K and almost within a year has sold 10x that FW number. Definitely done well over a million with sales off PSN added to disc sales. Sold 46K at retail in 2012, which is pretty good outselling 360 version for 2012 (and 2011) :-P. I hope ME3 on PS3 will get to at least 1.5 million in its first year. Hopefully that will reflect the amount of ME2 sales off PSN. I do wish EA / Bioware would publish its PSN sales of ME2.

Where is Kid Icarus Uprising?! Dont ppl know that by preordering it you get a code to download the first Kid Icarus game for free?! I hope this game wont fail :S

oni-link (on 08 February 2012)

here's hoping Xenoblade ends with at least 150K pre-orders as things seems like it's slowing down a bit. RE:R will be okay and probably sell at least 150K-200K during launch week.

Zim (on 07 February 2012)

Really disappointing numbers for The Darkness II. The original was very well received and an excellent game (Mp was a mess though). Game has a great demo out too.

Michael-5 (on 06 February 2012)

Didn't Ghost Recon: FS get delayed until May? Hope XenoBlades gets more pre-orders, but either way, it's looking to sell the most units in Americas.

BasilZero (on 06 February 2012)

Good to hear Xenoblade is doing well, Mass Effect 3 proves that the series has succeeded in catching and keeping fans for sequels! Diablo 3 looks like its beasting as well!

hajime234 (on 06 February 2012)

As expected, Mass Effect 3 preorders performing better than ME2 hmm, the combined versions at less than 200k to top 1 million with about a month to go yet. It'll be interesting how much more it will do until launch.

Cheddarchet (on 07 February 2012)

Really glad to see Xenoblade doing so well. Wish I could pre-order it, too. :(

miqdadi (on 07 February 2012)

Mass Effect 3, is just going to boom first week, but will it have good legs?, I am surprised by Darkness II numbers, I thought the first game was good, Xenogears is next in line for me after FF XIII-2

reaver_x (on 06 February 2012)

go Xenoblade woot!woot!

thehusbo (on 06 February 2012)

dsage01 (on 06 February 2012)

I can't believe that Starhawk is not on the list.

xinstantnoodlez (on 10 February 2012)
