Media Create: 3DS and Mario Kart 7 Still on Top - News
by Gabriel Franco , posted on 25 January 2012 / 4,158 ViewsFour Nintendo 3DS games were in the top five spots in Media Create's Software sales charts, Mario Kart 7 continued at the first spot, Rhythm Thief on 3DS was the top newcomer for the week with 31,598 units sold at the second spot, in third and fourth spot respectively were Monster Hunter 3G and Super Mario 3D Land. Onechanabra Z Kagura on Xbox 360 sold 22,013 units, placing fifth for the week. Also debuting in the top 10 were Heroes Phantasia and RPG Beyond the Labyrinth.

15 k is fine if sony does not want to out sell the 3DS
but if they do then , i say a price drop is in order! but then again they don't have room to do so . i say get games out and get them as soon as possible stop relying on third party .
Vita had a small drop from last week. If the system can maintain 13k to 18k a week without major software releases then it will do just fine in Japan. In the short term of course. If we're going into the holiday seasons of December 2012 and January 2013 and the Vita is still doing these numbers than it's time to fire a price cut.
But if vita sell bad then third parties will stop making games for it, remember all the games for the 3ds which were postponed because of poor sales

Looks like the Vita and PSP will start to sell about the same, ~15K.
And PS2 actually went up from last week. It just doesn't want to stop. :-D
