Media Create: 3DS Back on Top, Super Robot Taisen Reigns on Software - News

Nintendo 3DS took the top hardware spot last week in Japan, while on the software side the latest Super Robot Taisen game debuted in first place with 307,019 units sold. The three versions of Pro Baseball Spirits 2011 (PSP, 3DS and PS3) charted into the top 10. Other newcomers in the top ten included Persona 2 Innocent Sin (62,721 units sold), Pilotwings (26,554 units sold), and the PS3 version of Homefront (22,111 units sold), the 360 (7,752 units sold) was on the 14 spot.

On the Hardware side, sales were down overall, even the 3DS that was on the first place was on the negative side.

XiaoMay# In june zelda will release but then it's just a remake too but will probably push the hardware numbers.

3DS needs a system seller to drive the hardware up and then it will ALSO profit to third party...

When is the next big game (Nintendo or anything else) on 3DS ??? I don't see ANY blockbuster coming soon...

I guess it's because of the PSP supply constrain. But still, it's good that 3DS is on top again despite of its lack of new great games until now.
