The console wars are over. There can be peace once again

i prefer having a console war

Remember puddlegate? The mass lynching of Forspoken? How Dan Stapleton was treated for giving Starfield a 7 (a score it completely deserved). How could anyone prefer that?

Sony vs Microsoft wasn't a console war; it was a one way beat down.

The real War Between Sony and Nintendo begins now.

I disagree. The 360 beat the PS3 in many aspects, and sales in USA. The Xbone up until 2017, after a price cut was close to matching the PS4 in the USA. There WAS a war between them.

I also disagree with Nintendo being a competitor. If you haven't got GTA6 your not competing with Sony. Whoever has GTA6 will be the platform that defeats the other one

Having GTA6 to play on a console has nothing to do with what's supposed to be considered a "competition". These are all company with a core of their business in the video game market. Therefore, all competing for our time and money.

You missed my point. I know GTA6 does not define the meaning of "competition". When GTA6 launches, everyone's time and money will go towards that game, to a very extreme degree. The platform without it will not be able to compete with a platform that has it, especially the one which has the best version of it, which will be the PS5 Pro

That's truly a limiting view of the market as a whole. GTAVI is gonna be big to a degree we rarely see, but saying no other software could come and make for a competitive platform against whatever GTAVI is bringing relays only on assumption.

" The platform without it will not be able to compete with a platform that has it,"

Please point to me where the Switch version of GTA 5 is.

Switch is a handheld and it is not competing with consoles. It is already inadequate and can't play most games

That's utter nonsence. It plays 1000's of games. It's not a handheld, its an all in one hybrid. It's in competition with consoles AND handhelds.

I should have said most NEW games to be specific. I have one but even compared to my PS4 Pro it's a total piece of rubbish

By your logic, how can any platform consider it's self a "Gaming" console if it doesn't have a Mario game. After all Mario is the biggest and most well known charactor in gaming.

Wii U had a good exclusive Mario game but it couldn't save it. Would things have been different if they had an exclusive GTA that has the immense hype of GTA6? I think it would have been
