The Last of Us HBO TV series has been a huge hit for HBO and Naughty Dog with each episode having seen a growth in the number of viewers on premiere night. HBO announced the fourth episode had 7.5 million viewers on Sunday night, which is up 17 percent from episode three and up 60 percent compared to the debut episode.

The first episode had 4.7 million viewers across HBO and HBO Max, while the second episode saw an increase of 22 percent to 5.7 million viewers. The third episode in its premiere night saw 6.4 million viewers.

Following the early success the HBO TV series has been renewed for a second season

New episodes of The Last of Us TV series debut on Sundays at 9:00 pm ET/PT on HBO and HBO Max. The finale will premiere on March 12. However, the fifth episode will premier two days early starting on Friday, February 10 at 9:00 pm ET on HBO Max and HBO on Demand.

Hot damn. Biggest increase yet. I had a feeling based on the hype I heard about ep 3. Been letting a few episodes go by so I can do some binging, but I’m gonna dive back in this weekend or next. Can’t wait!

Besides the fact that it isn't common to keep increasing at this pace when it already started high, site needs click so they will post whatever. And as SanAndreasX said when Phil gives one interview we end up with 5 to 10 articles so they can milk the cow dry by slicing each paragraph of his answer into one specific article.
