they truly r hyping the game and im biting hard reel me in polyphony!
I might have to cancel my pre order, starting to get worried now, so close to launch and they aren't showing off any weather effects or anything that screams next gen. Forza 7 has nice weather effects, even driveclub was showing off nice rain, many years ago on base ps4.
I don't see why, maybe they are worried people will be disappointed?
Why do you even have a Pre-order this early? Why not wait till a week before when the reviews and Digital Foundary analysis comes out?
Because I can cancel at any time. Simple. In fact I might cancel it and get it cheaper later, as I have a huge backlog of games.
Yeah so why would you pre-order a game you're not even sure you want at launch months in advance? "I can cancel if I want" is not a reason to pre-order something cause then you'd just be pre-ordering everything that gets announced, no?
Because if he does decide he wants it he's high up in the queue and pretty much guaranteed to get it at launch? That makes sense to me.
I personally wouldn't pre-order anything anymore, Game Pass has spoiled me into trying before I buy. But if I were to pre-order, I'd want to be high up in the queue.
Who runs out of games these days? Unless it's some extremely niche Japanese game the chances of a game not shipping ample units to every store are zero.
Honestly, I don't know. I've been strictly digital since late in the PS360-era. But back when I still bought physical games, sometimes a store wouldn't get enough pre-orders for all their customers on launch day.
I'm sure I want it, what are you talking about? I'm a huge fan of GT2, GT4, GT6, I'm sure the game will be great, even a GT6 remaster would be great.
Just not sure if its worth the 93 dollars I would pay on pre order.
Hmmmm... it seems like you prefer the even-numbered GT games. GT2, GT4, and GT6.
Then again, because of GT Sport being the 7th game in the series, perhaps GT7 (8th main game in the series) should be though of as an even numbered release! :)
They showed off rain effects, which looks better than what was in sport. They also annouced day and night cycle, and full atmospheric changes.
The time/weather change simulation brought to life in GT7 is unique to Polyphony Digital, who researched the complexities of nature and tailored it into a video game," reads the blog post. "Referencing a massive amount of meteorological observation data, we have recreated spatial / time of day conditions for particle size distribution and concentration distribution of aerosol particles in the atmosphere on a global environmental scale, in a procedure that is unique to the Gran Turismo series."
GT5 and 6 had rain effects I had a ball doing the full 24 hour Le man driving through the rain at night.
Yes, GT6 was great, for a ps3 game, I want GT7 on ps5 to be you know, better than a ps3 game, that was my point.
If Polyphony hadn't mentioned having those weather effects and this was a GT Sport 2 I would understand your concerns , GT Sport is different and an outlier when compared to the numbered games. and the reason I brought up GT5/6 was in regard to your even Drive Club was showing off nice rain effects on PS4 comment, to show that the last numbered GT games had also done that ,so it wasn't like it was a concern regarding the next numbered GT, there are 4 months left we will get plenty more trailers between now and the launch.
So your point is, they haven't shown off because they still haven't add it, 4 months before launch?
These last 4 months should be just for testing and fixing bugs and little finishes.
Its not a lack of videos showing off GT either, there has been plenty.
No just that there's lots of content that hasn't been shown yet and they have 4 months left to show more of the game not make it?♂️
Can you link me to the video where they are showing off all of these effects on ps5? What you said just sounds like you are from the marketing team, I want you to show me, not try to sell me the game.
This was confirmed by the man himself. You calling him a liar?
You missed the whole point of my original comment, and you cant even back it up, my original comment was about them not showing off the next gen rain and weather effects and such. You talk and you don't even have a video to prove me wrong.
Why don't you compare videos of gt sport and gt7 and see yourself? Gt sport is the best looking racer , and even I can see graphical improvements in gt7 videos side by side.
