Switch Sales Top 1.57 Million in Spain, Accounted for 72% of Black Friday Sales - Sales

The Nintendo Switch has sold 1.57 million units to date in Spain, according to figures from GfK and reported by Nintenderos. The hybrid console has been the best-selling console in 2019 and 2020. 

The Switch has sold the most units in the month of November 2020 and during Black Friday where it had a 72 percent marketshare. 

Six of the top 10 best-selling games in Spain in 2020 were for the Switch: Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition, Super Mario 3D: All-Stars, Super Mario Odyssey, and Luigi's Mansion 3.

Games set in the Mario universe for the Switch have sold over 2.4 million physical copies in Spain. This does not include digital sales.
