Despite only being available for just the final three days of October, Watch Dogs Legion sold 1.9 million digital units, according to a report by research firm SuperData. This is several times higher than Watch Dogs 2, which sold 431,000 digital units in November 2016.

FIFA 21 sold 1.5 million digital units in October, This is higher than the launch month of FIFA 20, which sold 1.2 million digital units. However, it should be noted FIFA 20 launched at the end of September 2019, while FIFA 21 launched at the beginning of October 2020, so the latest release was available for longer in its first month.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time sold 402,000 digital units in October. This compares to Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which sold 520,000 digital units in June 2017, and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, which sold 552,000 digital units in June 2019.

Loving the consistency of sales for the Crash Bandicoot series ever since the remake of the original trilogy released on PS4 in 2017.

Physical sales are dead for the most part.

Watchdogs is getting bad rep ever since the 1st one,
They really never recovered from that 1st impression.
If watchdogs 1 was great sales would've been great inspite of semi decent sequels

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if the numbers are accurate. SuperData is pretty reliable from what I can tell, and even if they are off by ~10% it would still put Legions in a good position. I am personally not a huge fan of the series, but these sales bode well for a 4th entry IMO.

Yeah, that's their tactics usually. I don't know if there is any monetization in this game, but if there is then they surely will make some money out of that as well. The fact that it looks good from a technical point of view and that it launched on the eve of a new console generation might have helped as well.

It topped a lot of charts but I do agree the digital number sounds off.
