Female Soldiers will be Present in Call of Duty: Ghosts - News
by VGChartz Staff , posted on 15 August 2013 / 2,815 ViewsAccording to Infinity Ward's Mark Rubin, the changes being made to the multiplayer in Call of Duty: Ghosts will be the biggest ones since the original Modern Warfare back in 2007, and given the new footage (set to the tune of a rather explicit Eminem song) they've released, it's hard to disagree.
First of all, there's a new create-a-soldier mode. Ghosts promises over 20,000 different combinations of heads, bodies and equipment for players' personalised avatars, and also allows them to play as a female soldier.
Ghosts offers 14 maps, 30 new kinds of weapon (including a new weapon class called "Marksman Rifle") and 20 new killstreaks. Furthermore, it also boasts a revamped Squads mode that allows up to six players to fight together on a team. It will reportedly include Squad vs. Squad, Squad Assault, Wargame and Safeguard.
The game also has two new multiplayer modes: Cranked and Search & Rescue. The former allows players to gain new abilities after killing an enemy but also gives them a timer that blows them up when it hits zero. Search & Rescue, on the other hand, will cause players to drop dogtags when their health is depleted. Should an ally retrieve those tags, the player will be revived. If an enemy gets ahold of them, they're killed.
Call of Duty games have been very profitable and Ghosts does indeed seem likely to enjoy a similar level of success. The game will be released on the 5th of November.
