PlayStation Plus' September Instant Game Collection Revealed - News
by Jake Weston , posted on 29 August 2013 / 8,860 ViewsEvery month, PlayStation Plus subscribers get to look forward to a selection of free games to get added to their digital library. Here are September's selections, recently revealed by Sony.
They are:
- Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection (PS3)
- ICO HD (PS3)
- Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PSP, PS Vita)
- Rayman Origins (PS Vita)
- Galaga Legions DX (PS3)
Of the selection, I'm probably most excited for Resident Evil Chronicles HD, which collects the up-rezzed rail shooters Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, which between the two provide the abridged version of the stories for Resident Evils 0-3 and Code Veronica. As someone who's always loved the franchise lore but never had the patience for old school survival horror (sorry), I'm excited to be able to experience the whole saga in HD.
Ico is one of the best games of all time, so I'm always happy whenever that game becomes available to a wider audience. The inclusion of Rayman: Origins and GTA: Liberty City Stories seems a bit more cynical since both franchises have major releases in September, but now I have two more great games to play for my Vita, so I can't complain too much.
What do you guys think of this month's PS+ selection? Let us know in the comments.
