by Brent Galietti , posted on 18 March 2014 / 4,709 ViewsinFamous: Second Son releases for the PlayStation 4 on Friday. Its lead designer, Jaime Griesemer, will not be around to see launch day, as he has left developer Sucker Punch, according to Griesemer himself on his Twitter page.
In response to a Twitter user who congratulated him on the shipping of Second Son and noted his resume showed him leaving Sucker Punch, Griesemer tweeted: "Thanks. I'm excited for people to get their hands on it. And yes, I have left SP. Not really talking about it yet, tho."
Griesemer joined Sucker Punch in 2011, but before then, he worked at Bungie for twelve years. He is credited with work on Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, Halo: Reach, and Destiny.
Griesemer has not indicated what his future plans are.
