PSP sold a lot in the beginning... I think Vita can reach 35 million lifetime at least. It would be successfull enough in that way.
depend on Sony...
If will continue to supporting PSVita only in Japan, it will be impossible that figure...
But when you open PS Vita to Europe and Usa, forces reach 35/40 milion.
For now, PSVita sold 3.5 milion on 1 years, and 3.5 milion in 7 years is 24.5 milion.
Both handhelds ps vita and 3ds selling less than their previous iterations the psp and ds by a 12 million gap, this is saddening for the handheld market.
What Sony needs to do is cut the cost of the Vita to $150 and cut the cost of memory cards to be as competitive as microsd as well as make a few deals with SE and other companies to get some exclusive games on there
But with that being said, even though I do a lot of harping on the Vita, it is a great machine for unique games (in a good way). I just think the cost of the handheld and memory cards is what drags it down a lot
As a Vita owner, this is just painful to look at.
I'm sure the PSP sold at least 60M, not 20M as mentioned in the report.
