The WiiU sold over 3 million already. I dont know why its not counted

They are, just not into the YTD portion. They're comparing what each system sold from Jan 1st to March 23rd of each year. The Wii U didn't exist (in retail at least) this time last year.

No the Wii U has shipped over 3 million units. It has not sold 3 million units at retailers.
