USA Preorders Chart, 20 October 2012 - Medal of Honor, Forza

There are two games in the top 20 to be in its final week before launch, Medal of Honor: Warfighter for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and Forza Horizon (X360). As a reminder the Pro data is back up, which means that I am taking requests again for games outside the top 20.
The top five games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top 10 has 100,000 or more pre-orders, up from nine last week. Six games added 20,000 or more, up from five last week and nine added 10,000 or more, up from eight last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
Medal of Honor: Warfighter (X360) added 19,960 pre-orders for a grand total of 120,776. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 175,000 to 275,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 600,000 and 800,000 units lifetime.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter (PS3) added 15,847 pre-orders for a final total of 98,506. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 125,000 to 225,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 500,000 and 700,000 units lifetime.
- Medal of Honor (PS3, 2010) – 302,190 week one USA, 1.08 million to date
Forza: Horizon (X360) added 22,201 pre-orders for a grand total of 85,714. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 125,000 to 175,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 500,000 and 600,000 units lifetime.
- Forza Motorsport 4 (X360, 2011) – 200,080 week one USA, 691,024 to date
Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending October 27
Doom 3 BFG Edition (X360) sales are expected to drop to around 20,000 units in its second week on sale. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 10,000 units.
Dance Central 3 (X360) sales are expected to drop to around 18,000 units in its second week on sale.
Overall hardware sales are expected to increase slightly in the US.
Other Hot Games

Halo 4 (X360) has added 121,613 pre-orders, up from 80,137 last week, for a total of 1,001,157. The game has fallen 192,000 units behind Halo: Reach during the same number of weeks before release. The game is three weeks away from launch in the USA, November 6, 2012.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II (X360) added 87,386 pre-orders, up from 75,814 last week, for a total of 1,101,749. The game has grown to 617,000 pre-orders behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360) during the same number of weeks before release. The game is four weeks away from launch in the USA, November 13, 2012.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II (PS3) added 62,838 pre-orders, up from 41,863 last week, for a total of 640,949. The game has fallen 32,000 pre-orders Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3). The game is four weeks away from launch in the USA, November 13, 2012.
Notable mentions: Assassin’s Creed III (X360) added 86,016 pre-orders for a total of 565,400. Assassin’s Creed III (PS3) added 51,407 pre-orders for a total of 359,713. WWE ’13 (X360) added 15,272 pre-orders for a total of 67,930.
Requests: Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation (PSV) added 7,092 pre-orders for a total of 50,244. Ragnarok Odyssey (PSV) added 2,835 pre-orders for a total of 21,624. ZombiU (WiiU) added 2,617 pre-orders for a total of 14,794.
