XBOX CSO Matthew Ball in a post on social media stated Grand Theft Auto VI is not streaming exclusively on Xbox Cloud Gaming and the game will not be playable on PC via the streaming service.
"While the excitement for GTAVI and XBOX is great to see, it has also led to some misreporting," said Ball. "We are looking forward to launching GTAVI on XBOX November 19, though the game will not be streaming exclusively or to PC.

Xbox has reportedly secured exclusive streaming rights to Grand Theft Auto VI, according to The Verge.
Xbox CEO Asha Sharma in an internal town hall told employees Microsoft was getting ready to do something around the highly anticipated game that "no other platform holder is doing." Sources familiar with Microsoft's plans says it is a deal for exclusive game streaming rights.
The deal means only Xbox Cloud Gaming will be allowed to stream Grand Theft Auto VI to players at launch. It isn't clear how long the deal will be for. The streaming service is available on PC, so Xbox Cloud Gaming will be the only way PC players will have access to the game at launch as an official PC version of the game has yet to be announced.

This report comes a month after Microsoft announced it will be limiting the number of hours allowed to use Xbox Cloud Gaming for Xbox Game Pass subscribers starting in November, the same month Grand Theft Auto VI will launch.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have 15 hours per month, followed by the Premium tier at 10 hours and the Essential tier at just five hours. An option to pay for more hours will be available.
Players who are not Game Pass subscribers starting in November will also be able to purchase Xbox Cloud Gaming hours without the need to subscribe to Game Pass. Details on pricing will be shared before the changes take effect.
Grand Theft Auto VI will launch for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19.

Alright, so this has been shot down now by an Xbox exec, Matthew Ball, who said it's not streaming on Xbox Cloud Gaming exclusively. Since he says exclusively, that suggests that you can stream GTA 6 on Xbox Cloud Gaming if you buy a copy, but that it's not exclusive to Xbox Cloud Gaming, most likely because PS Plus Premium allows PS5 users to stream select owned games to PS5 itself or the Playstation Portal.
He says it's also not streamable on PC on Xbox Cloud Gaming it seems, Whereas the vast majority of owned Xbox games can be streamed on all available platforms (console, Windows, mobile, smart TV, Windows gaming handhelds), it seems that Take-Two has requested for streaming to not work on the Xbox app on Windows or Windows based gaming handhelds like the Asus ROG Xbox Ally based on what Ball said.
I would have been sad if I couldn’t play on my psportal
Its weird that they have the correction at the bottom of the page instead of the top . Also its exactly like Playstation then except its more expensive on Xbox.
Even if the streaming hours weren’t limited to a laughably low number, this is a giant nothing burger.
Exclusive?! Lmao all for the wrong reasons
Bragging about having the rights to exclusively stream the biggest game on the planet is like bragging about having the worst-running Lamborghini.
At the rate which PS5 has been broken wideopen on PC, I’m not sure how many people are willing to stoop as low as to cloud stream GTA VI.Especially at the price tag they’re proposing. But who knows.
I dont think they actually published the hourly pricing yet but @ $5 on a proposed 80 hour game that would be:
$80 for the game
$23 for GPU (15 hours)
$325 to beat the game. (65 addional hours)
So $425 to play Series S version on PC.
15 hours on the premium tier is crazy. Any bets on how much additional hours will cost? Also they usually stream Series S versions of games... and don't you still have to purchase the game too?
No it has always been the S version. Maybe the price increase will trigger an upgrade. I have PS Premium and there it is unlimited so I do not understand them limiting the hours as that is not a policy I want to see travel to PlayStation. I have friends who use Xcloud and I don't agree with you when you say its okay for Microsoft to launch this obvious price hike... the queues aren't going away... its obviously anti consumer.
