I expected a better opening for TTT2. Tekken 6 had a better first week about 3 years ago, when the install bases of PS3 and 360 were much smaller. Any chance TTT2 debuted late in the week?

Michael-5 (on 21 September 2012)

Yea, but only 2 years ago the consoles saw record sales. We're over the hill, it's unlikely any sequels will sell as well as prior installments now.

Can't we have that first French week for Tales of Graces F?

cusman (on 22 September 2012)

The DS is still a beast in sales... even after 3DS 1+ year in market with solid traction itself.

Michael-5 (on 21 September 2012)

Sales start to climb at the end of december, usually right after FIFA releases. Soon we'll see how the last major holiday for the 7th gen home consoles goes.

Bristow9091 (on 22 September 2012)

I'm with ryuzaki57, I want to see the first French week of Tales of Graces f, I mean, I doubt it'll make a big difference, but the numbers will look slightly better in the EU region, lol.

Heavenly_King (on 21 September 2012)

tekken 6 was a disaster, and because of that TTT2 is selling badly. People want to see some huge improvements, and not just the addition of "tag".

Burning Typhoon (on 22 September 2012)

It does have huge improvements. I hated Tekken 6, but, tag 2 is great. And not just because of tag.
The training mode is well beyond Tekken 6, and visually, it looks better. Not like a game from 2007, which is what Tekken 6 was anyway. More characters, better online play, and the game just feels like a better fighter overall.

Anyone who says otherwise either doesn't like bound/juggles, or either just doesn't like Tekken.
