Fire Emblem and Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Debut on the Japanese Charts, Switch 2 Sells 34K - Sales

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave (NS2) has retaken first place on the retail charts in Japan with sales of 127,131 units, according to Famitsu for the week ending September 20, 2026. 

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (NS2) debuted in second place with sales of 24,724 units. The PS5 version debuted in fourth place with sales of 21,753 units.

Marvel’s Wolverine (PS5) debuted in fifth place with sales of 20,039 units.

Another Eden Begins – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (NS2) debuted in sixth place with sales of 14,708 units. The Switch version debuted in seventh place with sales of 9,237 units.

Rhythm Heaven Groove (NS) is in third place with sales of 22,568 and Onimusha: Way of the Sword (PS5) is in eighth place with sales of 8,762 units.

Splatoon Raiders (NS2) is in ninth place with sales of 7,105 units and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream (NS) is in 10th place with sales of 6,909 units.

The Nintendo Switch 2 was the best-selling platform with 34,341 units sold. The PlayStation 5 sold 7,847 units, the Switch 1 sold 5,705 units, and the Xbox Series X|S sold 271 units.

Fortune's Weave is just a little under Three Houses' FW (143k), and this can be partially attributed to coming out earlier in its respective console's lifecycle.

Fire Emblem Engage debut higher than both at 144K despite not even getting to 2 million lifetime. the $80 price tag doesn't help but we'll see if this game has some legs. I'm enjoying the hell out it so far.
