Sports titles/simulators tend to be the last bastions of older hardware as they tend to have a massive userbase in lower socio-economic parts of the world who clamor for those types of games every year.

I know but I have a feeling racing games dropped PS3 and Xbox 360 earlier compared to PS4 and Xbox One. Of course games like FIFA, Madden, NHL etc. will continue for few more years.
