
Phil Spencer on Xbox Acquisitions: 'We're Definitely Not Done' - News

"We're definitely not done," said Spencer. "There's no quota, no timeline where I have to go acquire studios by a certain time, but if we find a studio where we have a good fit... absolutely."
Spencer was also asked about when Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said Xbox Game Pass had around 30 million subscribers. He is currently sticking with the last public number of 18 million and did say they will announce another number at some point.

That's cool and all, but why do these interviewers keep asking the same questions. This is probably the 4 times this has been said since the Bethesda acquisition happened. We already know they're not done acquiring studios.
My guess is it will be smaller studios. Which would be fine for a constant stream of Gamepass content.
This really is a bad practice. Imagine if Microsoft or Sony purchased Rockstar or Square Enix?

Yes we already know, another repeated article. Neither Sony nor MS will ever "be done" with it. As long as there is a good opportunity they will take.
Xbox has no games, really got to them. I think Moon Studios should be considered. They are amazing
Moon Studios might as well be Xbox. They are absolutely talented. That acquisition would certainly make sense.
However i hear Moon Studios dont want to be brought, which is fair enough if true.
