Okay so let's do some math:

  • the Switch will def sell at least 10 million in the last quarter
  • it already sold 2 million on feb 6th, before the 3D World release
  • with 3D World and Monster Hunter Rise, we can expect the sales to be near 4.5 million by the end of march
  • with several releases accross the year + Zelda SS, we can expect the sales to reach 12 million by september 30th

Thus, I can expect the sales of the Switch to be at least at 22 million by the end of the year, making the total 100 million.

Definitely. I still see the switch doing 25 million+ this year. I think it's possible it could even beat last year. But that's mostly going to depend on what big releases are yet to be revealed/dated.

Splatoon 3 isn't until next year, so we know the switch isn't getting replaced anytime soon. I think the momentum will stay pretty strong for at least this year and next.
