
Cyberpunk 2077 Sales Drop 80% in the UK, Assassin's Creed Takes the Top Spot - Sales
by William D'Angelo , posted on 20 December 2020 / 5,166 ViewsCyberpunk 2077 after debuting in first place drops to third in its second week, according to GfK for the week ending December 19, 2020. Sales for the game dropped 80 percent.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla jumps from fourth to first place as sales increased 66 percent on some discounts. This is only the third time in the last 15 years a non-FIFA or Call of Duty game did not take the top spot in the race for Christmas best-seller.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War remains in second place as sales remained relatively flat week-on-week. FIFA 21 comes in fourth place as sales increased 40 percent. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is in fifth place as sales slide 11 percent. There are just 9,000 units separating the top five.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is in sixth place as sales jumped 45 percent. Ring Fit Adventure re-enters the top 10 in ninth place as sales increased 155 percent. Super Mario 3D All-Stars rounds out the top 10 with sales increasing 44 percent.
