At this rate we are going to find out the price of the systems after we actually buy them... Come on Sony/MS pull the fucking trigger already.

They really are playing chicken until the very last second, aren't they? I wonder who will blink first.

599 US dollars. Perhaps why the Series S is seemingly a thing.

Could be a while. We didn't know the price of the Switch until 2 months before it launched.

If the wait is to see how much parts are going to cost in a covid-19 world fine, but if its just a blinking match for one to announce it so the other can undercut it just announce it already. The N64 was announced at $250 but ended up coming out at $200. I can't image it would be a huge deal if Sony announces a $500 price, Microsoft follows up and announces $450 and Sony decides to lower it.

I feel like Microsoft should reveal their price first since they revealed their console and specs first.

I expect a minimum of 100 dollar increase over current gen starter prices.

The verge isn't a credible source. Remember their "build a PC" video? Yeah, they are amateurs.

Ah, I see. Good. This means Microsoft must be struggling with pricing just as much as Sony. So much for Series X being cheaper than PS5.
