I wonder if the PS5 and Series X will get delayed due to the coronavirus? Allowing the PS4 longer time on the market before it's replacement comes in.

People need to let go of this notion that ps5 pricing can have a positive impact on ps4. Its all south from here on.

Next month will see the global release of the 3DS and after that DS sales will fall at a quicker rate, but it still has another 12 mil to sell so it's far from done. I think the PS4 will start gaining ground later in the year, but I don't think it has much more than 20 mil left in it.

I suppose anything can happen in gaming, but I feel very firmly nothing can ever match the DS and the PS2 as the kings of hardware sales. Even the combined sales of the GB and GBC were over 30 million shy of the DS numbers. The PS4 will sell about 125 million or more.

20m left ? It has much less than that.

Well I expect it to have around 8 mil+ left this year, but what happens after that depends on what pricepoint the PS5 launches at. If the difference is price isn't too big, PS4 sales could indeed dry out very quickly, but otherwise I could see it doing 12 million combined in the years to come or at the very least crossing 125 mil.
