Staying true to the Xbox name - Microsoft was kind enough to fill in for the X axis on this chart!

Including XBO figures is sadly kind of redundant.

It's crazy how PS4 pretty much gained over 50% marketshare there the second it passed Wii-U. I also find it funny that PS4 took the lead the there, despite Nintendo's bragging of 66% marketshare there, at one point.

Its not crazy at all, Wii U is dead and almost without any games for quiet times now, and soon new console is coming. On other hand PS4 is one of fastest selling console in world, and actually from that point of view PS4 sale numbers in Japan are pretty low.

PS4 has been going up though. Despite having have the launch sales of the PS3 in Japan, it's now tracking ahead of PS3. PS3 has sold about 10.5 million units in Japan to date; if push comes to shove PS4 will sell about 13 million units there.

It just a little ahead of PS3 in Japan, while world wide PS4 is selling double compared to PS3. It sold 3.5m in Japan after almost 3 years, I would very surprised if hits 10m LT, no way it will sell 13m, PS4 generation will not last 8 years like PS3.
