by VGChartz Staff , posted on 27 July 2015 / 3,602 ViewsCapcom announced today via its "Unity" blog that the Street Fighter V beta has been postponed until further notice.
The beta started on July 23rd, and since then a number of issues have surfaced, to the point where Capcom decided to take the servers offline.
"Capcom offers its sincerest apologies to everyone who participated in this first beta test. While the purpose of a beta is to work out these type of issues, it was very clear that the issues we faced were more severe than we were prepared for," said Capcom's ComboFiend. " We will be postponing our first beta phase until we believe the experience is going to be a positive one for players."
Capcom did however confirm that there will be three more beta tests for the game prior to its release in 2016.
