2K Sports wresting game WWE 2K15 has launched for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will launch later this month. The game had a modest launch selling 188,066 units in its first week. This is less than half of last year's WWE 2K14, which sold 389,130 units in its first week.

WWE 2K15 for the Xbox 360 sold 82,605 units in its first week on sale, down massively from last year's WWE 2K14. which sold 178,518 units. WWE 2K15 for the PlayStation 3 sold 105,461 units in its first week, down from the 210,612 units WWE 2K14 sold.

While sales might be down for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game when compared to last year's WWE 2K14, there were no next generation versions of the game last year. Once the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of WWE 2K15 launch later this month there might be no drop year-over-year.

Considering the lack of reviews and those actual reviews that did come out panning the game, the numbers they sold were decent. Let's see how the next-gen versions turn out. I don't expect much improvement outside of graphics and people were furious with 2K's ridiculous comments about having more DLC than any other game ever had.
