Hearing the launches will be delayed.
LOL. I laugh, but then scratch my head as I ponder how true and likely this could possibly be. It's not like delay's are foreign to this gen.
The coronavirus has made quite a mess of things. Probably won't be delayed, but you will be lucky to get hold of one at launch.
SNY has mentioned that Pro wasn't revealed early because that's not necessary anymore and isn't how the industry tends to operate these days. They could wait until TGS, even though it's hard to believe they wouldn't have their own show around the time of E3. However, SNY has also mentioned that they plan to make decisions based off of what MS does with XBSX, so waiting doesn't seem out of the question. Maybe SNY wants to give PS4 all the breathing room it can, for as long as it can, and make some bigger PS4 announcements over the rest of the year, like a super slim and/or price drop, then reveal PS5 just before the holidays?
Well if MS also keeps waiting, then what's a little longer for PS? PS5 dev kits supposedly have been in dev's hands for longer than XBSX kits. 3rd parties waited a year after Pro for XB1X after it was announced so early, so. SNY may not have said exactly that, but they basically left it open for interpretation, and I tend to agree with the insight that SNY most likely wants to make MS show it's hand first because PS holds the high ground and has the advantage at present.
If Sony doesn't cancel their attendance first...
I would respect it.
good lord, if the coronavirus isn't contained by then, we're in serious trouble
There is a chance all these 2020 events will be canceled due to coronavirus outbreak in every contry :(
Cloud gaming, brought to you by Microsoft
I see you are Ignoring that PS Now has been around for almost 5 years lol
They’ll be using Azure cloud, while both Sony and MS share and invest further in AI tech that Sony has been developing for years. I guess, next gen AI brought to you by Sony, right? You’re implying though that Cloud gaming is new and MS is at the forefront.
Also, if we’re being honest, Sony went with Azure, over Amazon and Google, because it’s the cheapest.
