Happy to see that the rumor is true! Welcome again Crash to Nintendo!

I still remember those commercials with Crash trash talking Nintendo. How times have changed lol.

Crash was wrong to mock The Godfather so he was given an offer he couldn't refuse.

If Crash is a character in Smash Bros. I want his reveal to be a sequel to be that commercial!

@PAO
That would be great! Haha!

Mario walks out of Nintendo HQ and challenges Crash.

@KLAMarine
Right!
Crash: "I've been waiting for this moment for a looong time, plumber boy."
Mario (with a serious look on his face): "...Let's-a go."

Why is no one covering the fact that it's launching on X1 and PC as well?.

They even have a trailer with all 4 platforms being shown.

Because a PS4 game going there is nothing special, while going to the Switch is newsworthy.

Crash cover art looks good with the XBox green color.

Because Crash dates back to PS1 vs N64 days, so going to a Nintendo console is huge.

  • +3
Chazore Chazore (on 08 March 2018)

It still doesn't make it right to neglect that kind of information. Otherwise by that logic, anything going from PC to a console wouldn't matter because said games were already big on PC.

KrspaceT Chazore (on 08 March 2018)

PS4/Xbox1/PC is the standard distribution. Being on Switch is not standard distribution

  • +3

It still does not overwrite the passage of information.

Perhaps because this was a NINTENDO Direct? It's pretty clear which version got the most attention today. :p

It was also told around some sites, across Crash's twitter and youtube accounts, which many crash fans follow.

So that's Mario, Sonic and Crash Bandicoot on one system. Who's next? Banjo Kazooie?

  • +4
Johnw1104 Kristof81 (on 09 March 2018)

I'm still hoping for Banjo & Kazooie in a Smash game one day Kriistof lol, combined into one character they pretty much already have a full moveset ready to go.

I wonder how much this game will sell on other platforms. My bet is Switch>PC>XBO.

I would bet the XBOX support for this will be pathetically low.

Mod out all the new updated graphics and let people play it using the original psone graphics at 8k resolution... pixels so sharp they actually can cut your retina open.

This will always just seem so so wrong to me. I mean, how would people feel if the likes of Mario appeared on every console? I mean, Crash was literally the poster boy for the PS1 back in the day. Those commercials will never escape my mind.
Feels strange but hey, Sony just screwed up that's all.

Shaqazooloo0 (on 10 March 2018)

Even though this isn't the first time Crash has been on a Nintendo system, it still feels pretty weird for this to happen.

  • -1

It's Jigsaw. He says it's the best because it's not exclusive anymore. Or something along that line of thought.

There can't be any really good game exclusive to PS.

I really feel like they were told/paid not to promote the Xbox version, but whatever. I'm just glad its coming.

Chazore Mr Puggsly (on 08 March 2018)

Feels like Not only Sony, but Nintendo had some exclusivity in the form of a one year exclusive and reveal marketing.

KLAMarine Mr Puggsly (on 08 March 2018)

How do you mean, Puggsly?

  • 0
Mr Puggsly Mr Puggsly (on 09 March 2018)

It just feels like the Xbox version was kept a secret until now. Either way, we know now.

  • 0
Hynad Mr Puggsly (on 10 March 2018)

That doesn't make sense, and sounds like you're just adhering to a baseless [and insecure] conspiracy theory. The game had to be announced somewhere first. And it just so happened that it was announced during Nintendo's last Direct first before anywhere else.

Nintendo may have had a deal with Activision to announce it in that manner. Needless to say, after the Direct, it was properly announced for every other platforms.

So your comment was simply just too hasty.

  • +3
Mr Puggsly Mr Puggsly (on 10 March 2018)

That's funny, you essentially attack me by calling me insecure... then you follow up by admitting MAYBE they had a deal with Nintendo.

My comment isn't baseless, you actually agree with me.

  • 0
Hynad Mr Puggsly (on 10 March 2018)

No. You say they were paid not to promote the XBox version. That's not the case. They let Nintendo make the announcement that it was going multi-platform. But then, what do you see?

Yeah, it's being promoted for all other platforms as well.

So no. Not agreeing with you that they were told/paid NOT to promote the XBox version. Since, yeah, it is being promoted after Nintendo made the first announcement.

Thats funny alright.

Hynad Mr Puggsly (on 10 March 2018)

Nope. You said that you "really feel like they were told/paid NOT to promote the XBox version".

What I said is that maybe they had a deal to be the first to announce that the trilogy was going multi-platform by showing it during their direct.

Spin that however you want, both are certainly not the same.

But here's the funny part:

Type "Wumpa For Everyone - Multi-Platform Trailer | Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy" on youtube.

That's funny alright. They're promoting all versions of the game, at the same time. :-D

Your comment was indeed baseless. Sorry.

Not even close. You said that you really feel like they were told/paid not to promote the XBox version.

What I said is that maybe they had a deal to be the first to announce/show that the trilogy was going multi-platform by showing it during their direct.
