And i was downvoted when I said UK charts were not representative at all when it comes to Nintendo stuff and here you have ARMS selling as much as SFV and Tekken 7 combined when people thought it was going to bomb lol

I noticed you got downvoted, and I didn't understand why. You were absolutely right. UK is not a strong market for Nintendo.

I thought that was odd, especially given a comment basically suggesting this showed people were losing interest in the Switch and that the Switch only had rehashes had a ton of likes. I don't know who those people are, but they're strangely eager to see it fail.

A good opening for ARMS, especially when you look at other fighting games that have launched in Japan in the last few years. I'm really interested to see what Splatoon 2's launch numbers are going to be...

It has a chance to beat MK8D and BotW, looking at the Japanese pre order numbers alone.

Zelda was never THAT popular in japan anyway.

Wowzaa. 100k at launch in Japan? That seems amazing for a new IP. I wonder how much advertising Arms at the Switch reveal, and as a party game, had to do with it?

And that's only for the first 2 days!

Holy Cow! I didn't even notice. Nice catch! I wonder if it will do 250k+ in in 5 days? Maybe 300k by the end of the week? Who knows!

Just started playing ARMS today and I'm enjoying it way more than I thought I would. If you ask me ARMS will have LEGS on the sales chartz (see what I did there).

100k is a good first week for ARMS, especially as a new IP in the fighting genre, which isn't that popular in Japan. It will be interesting to see how its LEGS fair. Especially with Splatoon 2 launching next month.
