Take-Two Interactive released its earnings report for the second fiscal quarter of 2017, ending on September 30. 

The biggest bit of information is that lifetime shipments for Grand Theft Auto V have reached 70 million units. That is up from 65 million shipped in May. 


Other figures revealed is that 4.5 million units were shipped of Mafia III in its first week. NBA 2K17 has shipped 4.5 million units since it launched in September. The Civilization series has shipped 37 million units.

Revenue for Take-Two grew 21 percent from $347 million to $420.2 million. Digital revenue increased 14 percent from $202.4 million to $230.8 million.  Profits dropped from $54.7 million to $36.4 million.

Congrats! the game is well made. While I don't agree with the morality of the game, it is fun. Well deserved.

Pretty sure people aren't supposed to agree with the morality. I don't see why gta is so controversial. You can easily avoid things like beating up people on the street, strip clubs, etc. I remember a time span where I spent like 6 hours in one week just driving around. It's a very diverse sandbox with so much. I'm anticipating the next game to do the same or more

I agree. I usually don't bother people but we all know that the vast majority of people are performing weird experiments in this game. I just can't bring myself to even hurt fake people.
