Famitsu is reporting that Monster Hunter X for the Nintendo 3DS sold 1,542,104 units in its first two days on sale in Japan.

This number does not include eShop copies of the game, just retail sales (both physical and download cards).

Additionally, the Nintendo 3DS sold 133,628 units for the week - a 100,000 unit increase over the previous week.

Monster Hunter X released in Japan on November 27th. There's no news of a western release at this time.
