Microsoft Will Showcase HoloLens at E3 - News

It looks like news of what we can expect from E3 2015 is slowly trickling out.  Microsoft will be bringing its new augmented reality project, HoloLens, to the big show.  HoloLens was unveiled back in January during CES.  It promises to bring holographic images and characters into your living room, enabling you to interact with them in, hopefully, new and unique ways.

“Be inspired at E3.  Holographic computing promises whole new ways for us to create, collaborate, work, and play. We look forward to showing and telling you more at E3, the world's premier trade show for computer and video games and related products.”

Take a look at the video below, which is taken from the newly-created Microsoft HoloLens YouTube channel, for more information on HoloLens:

It seems as though Microsoft will try to counter Sony’s Project Morpheus with HoloLens.  It will be interesting to see what gaming capabilities these pieces of technology can bring to the table - we’ll find out in a little less than two months!

...yay? This doesn't seem like something where games would be the primary implementation.

I'm very interested to see what Microsoft has in store for us! I hope they can show us something to really give us that "Wow!" factor.

Very cool and futuristic tech, hopefully it will spurn cometitors/new tech. Be interested how this tech could be adapted for gaming purposes.
