by Jared Katz , posted on 23 January 2014 / 2,888 ViewsIt’s that time again to let the light-weighted wallets of the gaming plebeians to breathe a sigh of relief. Yes, more game bundles for super low prices have appeared, and I as the Kickstarter/Bundle/Greenlight/Anime watcher of the staff have decided to help my fellow poor gamers get the best bang for their buck.
This time around the Humble Bundle is taking a break from game bundles, and is instead doing an Audio Book bundle. The four that make up the gaming bundles this time are The Humble Weekly Sale “Rougelike”, The Indie Gala January Bundle, Flying Bundle 5 and The Brutal Bundle from Bundle Stars.
First up is this week’s Humble Weekly Sale, which unlike most of the weekly sales that are from one developer is made up of various games from the Rougelike genre. This sale is made up of 6 games total that are all redeemable on Steam, and all but Teleglitch are DRM-Free. Those that pay over 1$ will receive Hack, Slash, Loot (Windows, Mac and Linux + OST), Paranautical Activity (Windows, Mac and Linux + OST) and Dungeons of Dredmor Complete (Windows, Mac and Linux + OST). Those that pay over 6$ will also receive The Binding of Isaac and Wrath of the Lamb DLC (Windows, Mac and Linux), Sword of the Stars: The Pit – Gold Edition (Windows + OST) and Teleglitch: Die More Edition (Windows). This bundle will last six more days.
Next bundle up is The Indie Gala January Bundle. It includes 8 games and will be adding 2 more mystery Steam redeemable games. Those who pay a dollar or more will receive Millennium A New Hope (Desura on Windows), Laxius Force (Desura on Windows) and Two Brothers (Steam on Windows). Those who beat the average of 5.19$ will get Gravity Badgers (Steam on Windows, Mac and Linux), Ballpoint Universe Infinite (Steam on Windows and Mac), Ravensword: Shadowlands (Steam on Windows, Mac and Linux), Tales of Maj'Eyal (Steam on Windows, Mac and Linux) and Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut (Steam on Windows, Mac and Linux). This bundle will also last another six days.
The third bundle is The Flying Bundle 5. This bundle features 7 games and will have one more mystery game added. As long as you pay over the minimum of 3$ you will receive Hamlet (Steam on Windows), Gravity Badgers (Steam on Windows, Mac and Linux), Gish (Steam on Windows and Mac), BasketBelle (Desura on Windows and Mac), POP: Methodology Experiment One (Desura on Windows and Mac), Booster Trooper (Steam on Windows) and CreaVurs (Steam on Windows and Mac). This deal will last another 17 days before it goes away.
The final bundle is The Brutal Bundle from Bundle Stars; this bundle includes 10 games total that are all redeemable on Steam. By paying over 5.03$ you will receive Naval Warfare (Windows), Port Royale 3 (Windows), Dungeonbowl (Windows), Day One: Garry’s Incident (Windows), Earth 2150 Trilogy (Windows), Tropico 4 Steam Special Edition (Windows), Iron Sky: Invasion (Windows and Mac), Steel Storm: Complete Edition (Windows and Mac), King's Bounty: Legions True Tactician Ultimate Pack (Windows and Mac) and Stealth Bastard Deluxe (Windows and Mac). This final bundle will be up for another 20 days.
