Undead Labs' State of Decay has sold more than 700,000 units in its opening month. The game managed to sell a total of 716,691 units. The game launched on June 5 for the Xbox Live Arcade. This also makes it the second fastest selling Xbox Live Arcade game of all time. Only Minecraft had a bigger opening.

State of Decay had sold more than 250,000 units in its first 48 hours on the Xbox Live Arcade marketplace. The game also hit 500,000 units sold in its first two weeks on sale.

State of Decay is currently available for 1,6000 Microsoft Points ($20). The game currently has a metacritic rating of 78 and our sister site Gamrreview gave the game a 7.9 out of 10.

Wow, that's insane for a digital download. This low budget title is going to generate more money than many retail games.

This is the difference between the PS Store and Xbox Live, things sell. Too bad people just didn't get the XBone strategy. So, the 700,000 people that bought this so far, are they headed to Gamestop to sell it next week? No, obviously not, they knew they bought a digital download

so 20 times 700,000= a State of Decay 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the next 10 years or so.
