Overview

There are no games in the top 40 to be in their final week. However, several PlayStation 4 and Xbox One titles entered the chart this week.

Two games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, down last week, and the top five has 100,000 or more pre-orders, down from seven last week. No games added 20,000 or more pre-orders, down from one last week and zero added 10,000 or more, down from five last week.

There are no games in the top 40 to be in their final week.

Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending June 22

The Last of Us (PS3) sales are expected to drop to around 150,000 units in its second week on sale.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) sales are expected to drop to around 125,000 units in its second week on sale.

Overall hardware and software sales are expected to decrease slightly week-on-week.

Other Hot Games – In Order of Release

Grand Theft Auto V (X360) added 9,542 pre-orders, down from 14,816 last week, for a total of 333,477. The PlayStation 3 version added 8,741 down from 11,313 pre-orders for a total of 290,997. The game is 16 weeks away from launch in the USA, September 17, 2013.

Battlefield 4 (X360) added 4,221 pre-orders, down from 7,256 last week, for a total of 161,500. Battlefield 4 (PS3) added 3,287 pre-orders, down from 3,723 last week, for a total of 77,696. The game is 20 weeks away from launch in the USA, October 29, 2013.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (X360) added 5,600 pre-orders, down from 17,540 last week, for a total of 124,055. The game is 77,000 pre-orders behind Black Ops II (X360). The game is 21 weeks away from launch in the USA, November 5, 2013.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (X360) added 4,678 pre-orders, down from 7,893 last week, for a total of 74,910. The game is 56,000 pre-orders behind Black Ops II (PS3). The game is 21 weeks away from launch in the USA, November 5, 2013.

Notable mentions: Madden NFL 25 (X360) added 3,597 pre-orders for a total of 32,679. Saints Row IV (X360) added 3,260 pre-orders for a total of 19,458. Batman: Arkham Origins (PS3) added 2,855 pre-orders for a total of 19,111.

Requests: Killzone: Shadow Fall (PS4) entered the charts this week with 12,380 pre-orders. Call of Duty: Ghosts (XOne) entered the charts this week with 3,359 pre-orders. Infamous: Second Son (PS4) entered the charts this week with 906 pre-orders.
