King.com has announced that there are more than 50 million daily active players playing their games. There are also more than 108 million players every month. This comes out to more than 12 billion games played per month. Also 49 million of its players are playing on mobile devices.

"We have had lots of fun over the last 10 years making great games and we are honoured to have acquired such a loyal fan-base," said CEO Riccardo Zacconi. "The exceptional growth of our mobile, Facebook, and cross-platform audience is a testament to the care and craft that goes into our games. We're pleased to announce two new Saga games on Facebook with Papa Pear Saga and Farm Heroes Saga. These games build upon our Saga portfolio with new concepts that players are sure to enjoy."

King.com has also announced that it is rebranding its name. The company has dropped the .com and has changed its logo. It is moving away from tournament and gambling games. The company is now focusing on casual games for social and mobile platforms.

"Our positioning is now around sparkly, fun games," chief marketing office Alex Dale told Develop in an interview. "We've gone from zero mobile players to 49 million a month and have really focused on casual games - the brand revamp reflects that."

The company has grown from 120 employees to 450 in the last year. It also has offices in Barcelona, Bucharest, Hamburg, London, Malmo, Malta, and San Francisco. The companies growth is due to the success of the title, Candy Crush Saga. The game has more than one million daily active users and more than 45 million players each month.
