Looks great so far! Hopefully it's a step up from the first season, which was decent but could use some improvement.

I enjoyed the first series of episodes quite a lot, it brought several of the stories of the first couple of books together in a very interesting way while filling in some of the blanks. The second (by this trailer) looks to continue to pull from those first two books as well. It also maintained the formula of the books in being a story arc that’s still episodic, although the TV show packaged it all together more neatly, although they did have time to rethink the whole thing from scratch, while the books had to fit existing short stories into a greater context, and write around them. So, this first series of episodes built into the spirit of how the story might have been packaged in a re-assessment of the first two collections. While there is room for improvement, I don’t consider it as noteworthy considering how great it turned out compared to most other book to TV-show adaptations in their initial runs.

That’s just my thoughts, for what they’re worth. You don’t have to agree.

Fair enough. I found the first season to be pretty slow at times so I'm hoping the pace picks up.

Nice trailer....or it would be, if the horrible music choice wasn't so damn distracting

I thought the music was spot on for that sort of a short clip montage trailer for The Witcher.

To be fair, I usually also dislike these “~70 clips in ~2 minutes” sort of trailers :)

Looks like they’re not done with The Last Wish, as in two of those 1 second clips were Nivellen and Vareena. I think many were thinking those stories were just going to be ignored entirely because they didn’t fit. A few maintained that they could always be wrapped into the timeline later.

First season was entertaining enough, hopefully this builds on that. I'll check it out.
