by William D'Angelo , posted on 09 September 2021 / 3,577 Views

Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Naughty Dog have announced Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for the PlayStation 5 and PC. It includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

View the announcement trailer below:

Read details on the collection below:

This brand-new remastered bundle includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, featuring Nathan Drake as he hunts for Captain Avery’s long-lost treasure, setting off for one final far flung adventure across the jungles of Madagascar to long lost pirate colony of Libertalia. It also includes Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which chronicles Chloe Frazer’s breakout exploits as she moves from frenemy to hero. Enlisting the assistance of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross, Chloe ventures to India’s Western Ghats to locate the Golden Tusk of Ganesh.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available in early 2022 for PS5. The PC version is in development by our partners at Iron Galaxy and will release shortly after the PS5 version. As these dates approach, we’ll discuss more details.

Needless to say, we’re pretty excited that more players will get the chance to meet (and fall in love with) Nathan, Chloe, Nadine, and the rest of the cast in the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

This game still looks phenomenal.

Remasters, "collections", and the like are the worst thing going on in gaming lately. Releasing the same stuff to suck a few more dollars out of the faithful. It is sad to see this moving beyond Nintendo.

I like it. Gives me a chance to play games I missed out on previously. Sure sometimes it’s something I already played but not always.

You have that ability with the original games, which are typically available for a few bucks after a few years.

Yea but graphics are to old sometimes. I want to play them with the improved graphics.

With that said, I understand the business reasons for doing it. These games cost a ton of money to make, so they have to get as much revenue out of them as possible. I just wish it wasn't this way.

I actually hope for many more remaster. There’s games I’d love to play again and again and with the best graphics and performance possible. There’s still a lot of new games too.
The good thing is you are not forced to buy the remasters.

It's coming to PC so I'd say this one is worth it.

eh this has been beyond Nintendo forever. When I purchased FF1 and 2 on nes, gba, ps1, psp,... Picked up skyrim and minecraft more times that anyone should admit. mega mean collections on half a dozen consoles. This isn't new and it was never just or mainly nintendo. I only like it when it comes to PC so I can buy it once and play in 20 years later without an issue

VAMatt billyboy (on 15 September 2021)

Yeah, I suppose that's true. I guess the issue has just come to a head for me because Nintendo has been re-releasing Wii U games. That has really put me off. As a loyal Nintendo fan, I purchased a Wii u, played all those games, and purchase a switch. Now, they load up the switch with games that they've already sold me, leaving less than I'd like in the way of new Nintendo first party content on their current system

Seems unnecessary you'd rather they put their full efforts into a new Uncharted. That being said both games are great at a discounted price I'd kick tires...

Chazore AdvanceWebSolutions (on 10 September 2021)

It's primarily to launch the 4th on PC, with PS5 being another option for those wanting an upgrade.

If they made a new Uncharted PC wouldn't be getting it just yet, so I don't see the point as that doesn't fit into their new strategy.

This is cool but confuses me that they arent porting the nathan drake collection to pc

Man, I feel a jonesing to replay U4. Haven’t played it since 2016. Will likely buy this for ps5.

A new collection?

I mean, who hasn't already played Uncharted 4 and owns a PS5? ?

All joking aside this is a great chance for those that perhaps missed out on those 2 great games of last gen. Will be curious to see if the upgrade in visuals stand out significantly over their older counterparts.

-DDDDRRRRAAAKKKKEEEE!!!! NINJA APPROVED-

This is most likely more for pc players but might as well release it for ps5 as well. It would be weird not to.

victor83fernandes thevideogameninja (on 10 September 2021)

Well the PS4 has sold over 100 million. How many million has uncharted 4 sold? What about the millions or Xbox gamers who haven’t played it?

Azzanation thevideogameninja (on 10 September 2021)

I mean the same argument can be said with your Alan Wake excitement

  • +2
victor83fernandes Azzanation (on 10 September 2021)

Alan Wake needs more a remaster than Uncharted 4, Uncharted 4 is already ps4 pro enhanced and it already looks phenomenal, Alan wake on the other hand only looks good on PC, the 360 version might be only 720p

Pemalite victor83fernandes (on 11 September 2021)

More to visuals than just the resolution.

Uncharted 4 does fall apart at a few seams on the PS4 Pro... So it is a good opportunity for the developers/Sony to go back and fix them up for PC/PS5.

victor83fernandes Pemalite (on 12 September 2021)

So you’re saying that uncharted 4 was more in need of a remaster than Alan wake? Even though Alan wake was not on the ps3 or PS4? That’s interesting opinion but I disagree. Uncharted 4 looked phenomenal on my pro. Alan wake looked very blurry with bad aliasing. Looked perfect on my pc tough.

Pemalite victor83fernandes (on 13 September 2021)

I never ONCE mentioned Alan Wake.
Don't gaslight me.

LivncA_Dis3 (on 10 September 2021)

does ps4 version get free upgrade? or pay 10 bucks? is fine with me whichever way

  • 0
victor83fernandes LivncA_Dis3 (on 10 September 2021)

PS4 already has a free upgrade, has had for years. I don't see why it should have a free remaster upgrade that's nonsense, that's like saying god of war 3 or last of us remaster should have been free, or shadow of colossus should have been free. Never gonna happen. The developers need to be paid for the extra work.

LivncA_Dis3 victor83fernandes (on 11 September 2021)

ps4 version of uncharted 4 and the lost legacy has free upgrade to ps5? 60 fps?

  • 0
victor83fernandes LivncA_Dis3 (on 12 September 2021)

I didn’t say 60fps. Learn to read. I said upgrade. Resolution and overall graphics and performance.
A full remaster will never be free, never has before.

Ill wait until they release the entire bundle. I am in no rush in playing the series and i always prefer to start with the first game.

Does it include the multiplayer? Already played both games on PS4 so not interested.

I figured Nixxes was working on the PC port. I can't wait to see what other games they'll be porting!

Apparently it's Iron Galaxy, which doesn't fill me with confidence.

Iron Galaxy made Season 2 and Season 3 Killer Instinct, they are great

  • 0
Chazore Azzanation (on 10 September 2021)

They weren't so great with some other port jobs tbh.

I am not familar with anything they have done after KI, however before KI they weren't well recognize, at least to me.

I'm not good at dual stick controls, so looking forward to keyboard and mouse inputs, similar to Horizon.

Uncharted with keyboard and mouse? What a nightmare.

Did I say anything about removing controller support? Can you read?

How is it a nightmare then when there is an optional alternative input scheme that nobody would ever force you to use?

  • -1
victor83fernandes LittleCloud (on 30 September 2021)

I never said it was a nightmare on a controller, I say a nightmare to play on keyboard, can you read English? Go back and read my comments.

1-3 is already on ps5 and its already enhanced. Most PC gamers who cared for Uncharted have already bought a ps3 or ps4 or ps5 by now, or else they really don't care for the series.
