Super NES
- Doomsday Warrior – It’s the Doomsday Warrior versus the Doom Squad! This action game features an evil sorcerer who has recruited seven warriors to take over Earth. But one of the Doom Squad has resisted the influence and now stands against the rest as the Doomsday Warrior!
- Prehistorik Man – Sam the caveman’s quest to save his village begins! Sam lives in a village whose food is stolen by dinosaurs. To get more, Sam must collect bones, which he can then use to buy food. On his way, he’ll need to make use of a variety of weapons, vehicles and attacks, including shouting, to attack all on-screen foes. Can Sam reach the dinosaur graveyard and collect enough bones?
- Psycho Dream – When Sayaka doesn’t return to reality after entering an immersive virtual world known as a D-Movie, the protagonists, Ryo and Maria, must progress through a terrifying fantasy game called Legend of the Fallen Capital to rescue her and bring her back to reality.
NES
- Fire ‘n Ice – As Dana, you have been chosen by the Queen of the Winter Fairies to bear the power of ice magic. With it, you must defend your home, Coolmint Island, from the wicked wizard Druidle and his flames!

Were are Earthbound and Super Mario RPG? And why can't they just put the older Fire Emblem games with translations on there too instead of just selling one of them seperately?
Are we getting Gameboy/Color and Gameboy Advance at some point?
I wish they added Gameboy games I won't mind paying 30$ a year if they do it
Decades worth of games and systems... And this is what they offer? Common Nintendo.
Honestly, other than SMRPG and Earthbound, which would both involve outside parties although I’m sure Itoi and Square Enix would be agreeable, Nintendo has put pretty much every NES and SNES game they made in house on there. Mega Man, Castlevania, Contra, and Dragon Quest won’t be on the service because their publishers already sell those games separately on the eShop, and if Square Enix ever decides to bring the NES and SNES Final Fantasies they likewise will do so themselves as paid products. And that’s not even going into the legal wrangling it would take to get CBS, Activision, and Konami to agree to TMNT. Smaller publishers are likely the only ones who will play ball on this service. on this.
They still have Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo WiiU in which to draw from.
But as far as SNES games are concerned... Where is Lufia 2? Street Fighter? Secret of Mana?
Secret of Mana is in the Collection of Mana, so that’s not happening. Street Fighter 2 is also in a retail collection so Capcom won’t be bringing that one in.
Hasn't stopped Microsoft or Sony in the past.
... Really think they should just move on to more systems at this point. The bottom of the barrel has been thoroughly scraped.
Agreed, I'd at the very least like to see some N64 or Gameboy/Advance games, though this is doubtful
They already have a good chunk of the few good N64 games on there. The N64 wasn’t exactly overflowing with greatness.
Huh? They have none of the N64 games on Switch Online. To my knowledge, the only N64 game that is legally playable on Switch is Super Mario 64 as part of 3D all stars.
Doom 64 and the Turok games are on the Switch as separately sold products. And other than Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, which I’d rather Nintendo put out on cartridge anyway, or Mystical Ninja which will never be re-released in any form because Konami, hat’s pretty much all the N64 games that I’d care to revisit. The N64 wasn’t one of Nintendo’s better efforts.
So... by good chunk, you meant... 2? And none of them through Switch Online?
Actually I kind of did mean a good chunk, LOL (there are two Turok games on Switch, BTW). I jumped off the N64 for the PS1 as soon as it became evident that Earthbound 64 was vaporware and that the N64 was going to be a complete disappointment for RPG fans. I wasn’t a big fan of Rare, either. Not that that matters since Microsoft owns everything Rare made that isn’t Donkey Kong.
Ok... well if you think 2, or 3, represents a "good chunk" of the good games available on N64, then your opinion is pretty unreasonable.
Shrug, as you like. GameCube is another story, there was a lot of games I liked on there. But I’d much prefer to buy the games up front rather than have them locked behind a monthly paywall.
I mean... there are 29 games (not including rare's) with a metacritic above 80, and 50 above 70. So, I don't think 3 being a good chunk is reasonable by any stretch.
I'd prefer Nintendo makes the games available for purchase individually and as part of Switch online, so people can choose which way they'd want to purchase it. But right now they're doing neither.
