NieR: Automata Ships Over 5 Million Units Worldwide - Sales

Square Enix announced NieR: Automata has shipped over five million units worldwide. The figure includes digital sales. 

The last milestone that was announced for the game was 4.85 million in September, and before that was 4.5 million units in March, and four million in May 2019. 

NieR: Automata is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Just finished the 3rd playthrough and got the final ending. Amazing game. But that butt jiggle/bounce look and physics, those japanese lol. Only they can get away with it.

A good example of what word of mouth can do. It was at 4.5 Million in March 2020. And since then it sold another 500k. Not bad for a 2017 game.

GOTG right here. Came out of nowhere, incredibly fluid and fun combat with lots of genre variety keeping things fresh. Very likely the best soundtrack and story of this gen too.
