Resident Evil Outbreak in Data leak is Revelation 3, According to Rumor - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 01 January 2021 / 4,068 ViewsThe cyber attack that happened to Capcom's servers revealed Resident Evil Village, which was announced for the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC earlier this year, will launch in late April 2021 and will also be getting a release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will reportedly also launch with an online game codenamed Dominion, similar to how the remake of Resident Evil 3 included the multiplayer game, Resident Evil Resistance.
The data leak also made mention of a new Resident Evil Outbreak. This has lead to speculation by fans if it was a remake or a new entry in the series.
Video game insider Ryan, aka Dusk Golem or AestheticGamer, via Twitter says the listing of Resident Evil Outbreak is not Outbreak 3, but is actually Resident Evil Revelations 3.
The Revelations games is a subseries to the mainline franchise with the first one taking play between Resident Evil 4 and 5, and the second one between 5 and 6.
This should be treated as a rumor until an official announcement is made by Capcom.
It's Revelations 3, not Outbreak 3. I won't say more than that for now though. https://t.co/Yl6peklnbX

The twitter claim of it not being Outbreak and instead being yet another Rev game being possibly true, depresses me. I never liked the Rev series, and I've been waiting untold years for some Outbreak love.

Hmmm. I liked both Revelation 1 and 2, and find them to be pretty fun games. But I wouldn't say no to a new Outbreak either.
