omg Switch numbers this year are just off the charts. 5.8 mil last year by this point to 10.2mil so far this year and it was a 19.2mil year. Just insane. Switch sold 13.4 million after this point last year, so basically 23 million is the FLOOR for the Switch this year. Might hit 25 million this year good god

Yeah it's selling like no console has in a long while. If somehow Ninty fills up the rest of the year and produces the goods, it can even hit 27 mil or more I think. And with the rumours of a Ninty July direct, I'm hoping for the best.

Switch is up 75 % YoY. That's quite unusual for a console in year 4. What an insane Covid and Animal Crossing boost...

I'm being a bit too optimistic here but could this be the spark that sends the switch to the next level like how DS Lite did for the DS? Could we see 2021 be better than this and the switch selling 140mil+? I sure hope so. And this pandemic is helping Xbone and PS4 to sell more than they would have as well so that's good.

Plus 75% is nuts. Obviously the current situation in the world helps, also for the other consoles by softening the fall, and even causing a growth for the Xbox. This'll be a good year in hardware sales. Can't imagine Switch holding on to such a gigantic growth, that would sure be a sight.
